The Future of Technology is an IBM technology event co-organised by IBS Bulgaria. This year’s theme is The Speed of Change: how AI, data, hybrid infrastructure and automation change the way organisations work, and how fast.

What to expect

The morning brings the latest from IBM: technology trends from IBM TechExchange 2026, a keynote panel on AI, infrastructure and automation, and the road from agentic AI to data for AI, shown through real use cases. Before lunch, Goran Angelov, founder of IBS Bulgaria, talks with Formula 1 guest Dimitar Tsolov about talent, technology and determination.

In the afternoon the programme splits into three tracks:

• Hybrid: Where It Runs. IBM LinuxONE for critical workloads, the LinuxONE ecosystem in Bulgaria from the classroom to the data centre, a client case study and a sovereign private cloud for AI on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Agents & Data. Modernizing Java applications, event-driven architecture and data streaming, governing AI agents, and crypto agility for the post-quantum era.
• Automation & Operations. Secrets management in production, from detection to remediation, and integration in the AI era.
